The female Bollywood star Twinkle Khanna is better known in the world as the wife of the great Indian male icon Ashkay Kumar. Every girl in India may consider her the subject of envy and wonder. But more than being popularly considered as a shadow of her man’s towering splendor, she has a few characteristics of her own that truly made her a deserving partner of the multi-gifted star Ashkay. More than her beauty is accounted for; she is genuinely admired by the public due to her fairly high level of intelligence.
Twinkle Khanna received an average height of fame in the Hindi film industry. Her run in the mill performance is not primarily caused by her lack of appeal or her charisma. Her meager stardom is relative to her minimal interest in acting. Surprisingly, for an actress who usually did not put her whole heart into such a career, she did well enough to be paired with great actors like Sharukh Khan and Amir Khan. Despite her steadily elevated stardom, she eventually left the film industry and focus on her married life with Akshay Kumar. Her interior design store gave her the esteemed Elle Décor International Design Award. The White Window franchise has expanded from Crawford Market, Mumbai to several other places all over India. With her sparkling success in business, she had enough time to touch less stressful aspects of cinematography, enabling her to produce famous films. Twinkle Khanna is a mother of one twelve-year old boy Aarav Kumar. In September of 2012 she is expected to give birth to another member of the Kumar-Khanna Family.
Priyanka Chopra was born on 18th July, 1982 at Jamshedpur, India, is a leading Bollywood actress. She won the title ‘Miss World’ in the year 2000. Her parents are both physicians with the Indian Army. She has a brother Siddharth, seven years younger to her. She completed her studies at La Martiniere Girls School in Lucknow and then left for US to complete high school at Newton North High School, Newton and later at John F. Kennedy High School, Lowa. She has a cousin sister Parineeti Chopra, who has just entered Bollywood in 2011.
After winning the crown, she started getting offers from the film industry. She initially tried her luck with a Tamil Film in the year 2002, which did not popularize her as a heroine. Her next movie ‘Andaaz’ released in 2003 was a box office hit and she won the Filmfare award for the best debut actress. After that, three films flopped disastrously at the box office namely ‘Plan’, ‘Kismat’, ‘Asambhav’. Then she got an offer to act in ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ which again brought her to the limelight in 2004. She won the national award for her role in the movie ‘Fashion’ released in 2008.
Till today she has acted in about 40 films. She is also involved with many charity projects and is an active member of NDTV’s Greenathon, a project to help provide electricity to many rural villages across India. She is also the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF. She has won numerous awards within a span of 10 years since she started her acting career in the year 2002. She also won the critics award in the year 2012 for ‘7 Khoon Maaf’. An UK magazine has voted her as ‘Asias Sexiest Women’ in the year 2006.
She was rumored to be romantically linked with a budding Bollywood actor Harman Baweja, but they broke up and now she is seen to be in a relationship with Shahid Kapoor, the current heartthrob of many females and a leading Bollywood actor. Apart from acting, Priyanka Chopra is also a trained classical singer. Her first single album is scheduled to be released in September, 2012.
